Introduction

Easy and Hearty Meal Just one "Pot" Easy and Hearty Meal Just one "Pot"
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

1/2 head cabbage, cut into wedges
    2 lb Turkey Ham
    4 Chicken Bouillon Cubes
    4 c water
    1 Onion, cut into wedges
    3 garlic cloves
    2-3 medium red potatoes, diced
    1 c baby carrots
    Black pepper to taste

Directions

Put hot water and chicken bouillon cubes into a bowl and set aside. Place whole turkey ham into slow cooker. Add carrots, garlic and potatoes around the ham. Add black pepper. Place cabbage wedges on the top. Pour water mixture into the crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 9.5 hours or on high for 7.5 hours. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add onion and cook, covered, for remaining 30 minutes (this keeps the onion from getting mushy). If you throw it all in the slow-cooker before work (or school or whatever) it will be done by the time you get home. Don't worry about over cooking, it's a little hard to do with this one. Makes about 6 servings.

    Very Good
Very tasty. I ended up using sweet potatoes instead of regular (thought I had some stocked). Will definitely make again. - 3/12/09
