Introduction

Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    Bottom Layer:
    4 lbs of Ground Beef
    2 cups of Mixed vegetables
    2 Cans of cream style corn
    2 onions, chopped
    1.5 cups of pototo flakes
    3 cups of water

    Top Layer:
    20 potatoes, peeled, boiled
    2 cups of milk
    1/2 cup of margarine or butter


Directions

Fry Onions in large pot, add ground beef. cook until meat is brown. Add water and salt, along with any other seasonings to taste. Stir in cream corn and vegetables. Add potato flakes. Stir until sauce is thickened and vegetables are cooked.

In a separate bowl, mash potaoes with milk and margarine.

Pour filling in to a deep roasting pan. Spread potatoes on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

This makes approximately 20 servings.

    Incredible!
    I take this dish to friends that are sick or if they just had a baby. When I make it I put it in two 9x13 pans (the disposible ones with the lids) I cook one and I freeze the extra before baking, so I always have one on hand to give out. - 4/23/08
