Ingredients

    3 egg whites
    1/2 cup baking sugar
    1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Tips

Add other flavorings like peppermint, granulated coffee, or chocolate chips, or food coloring if desired.


Directions

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and vanilla and continue beating until glossy. Pipe into star shapes with pastry bag on baking sheet lined with wax paper.
Bake in oven for 45 mins or until dry.
Makes about 5 dozen.
