Ingredients

1 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 Cup Karo Light Corn Syrup
Dash (1/16 t) Salt
1 1/2 cups (apx 7.5 oz) Cashews
1 Tablespoon Butter
1 1/2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon (liberal) Vanilla Extract (not imitation)
Tips
Do not let your cooking dish sit after candy is on cookie sheet, immediately put it in hot soapy water or remaining candy will coat the inside of your dish and you'll never get it clean.
Directions
Liberally grease large cookie sheet; set aside
In a small container combine baking soda & vanilla; set aside.
In a large flat-bottom microwave proof casserole dish
Combine sugar, syrup, salt and nuts. Mix to combine
COOK ON HIGH FOR 3 MINUTES; stir and return to microwave; COOK ON HIGH FOR 3 MINUTES;
stir, return to microwave; COOK ON HIGH FOR 2 MINUTES (for a total cooking time of 8 minutes).
Remove from microwave and immediately stir in butter and soda/vanilla mixture, stiring until combined and fluffy. Quickly pour mixture onto greased cookie sheet. Let set at room temperature until hard; crack into pieces and ENJOY.
