Chili is made with lean ground turkey, onions, diced tomatoes, potatoes, green chili, kidney beans, corn, and beef broth. Ingredients:
1 lb Ground Turkey
1 medium Yellow Onion, chopped
1/2 cup Green Chili (from a jar or can) - add more for more spice
2 Medium to Large White Potatoes, chopped into 1" pieces
1 can Red Kidney Beans
1 can Whole Kernel Corn
2 cans Diced Tomatoes
1 cup beef broth / beef bouillon
2 tbsp Garlic Powder
1 tbsp Chili Powder
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
Tips
Adding additional water or beef broth makes it a little more soup-like, it's really whatever your preference is.
Directions
Peel onion and potatoes, chop both. Add all ingredients to crock pot, then stir all together so they are evenly dispersed. Turn crock-pot onto to Low heat to slow cook - I like to prepare mine at night and leave in cooking while I sleep, or in the morning and come home to dinner being ready!
