Ingredients

    1/2 stick butter
    3 onion
    3 8 0z packages mushrooms
    1 package plain stuffing/bread cubes/croutons
    2 tbs Salt
    2 tbs pepper
    2 tbs garlic
    6 tbs sage

Tips

This is my family's traditional Thanksgiving stuffing:)


Directions

melt the butter in a skillet. Add onions and mushrooms. season with the salt pepper and garlic. Fry til onions brown slightly.
In large mixing bowl with lid add the skillet contents to the plain cubes, with the sage. Shake to mix and stuff in turkey. any excess stuffing can go around the turkey in the roasting pan.
