Ingredients

    Cube one loaf of weight watchers whole wheat bread (approx 20 slices)
    Let dry at least over night
    Saute onion, and celery in a little of the chicken broth
    add apples, sausage and herbs
    add liquid to bread and toss to coat
    add egg beaters and toss to coat
    press into 9x13 casserole dish sprayed with pam
    bake at 350 for 30 min (I cover with foil and take it off for last 5 min of cooking to crisp up top.)
    makes approx 10 servings

Tips

There is a lot of wiggle room in this recipe--more or less liquid to your own taste. I like my stuffing very moist (I do not stuff the bird with this one although you could--just keep it a bit drier.
