Ingredients

1 tsp Grapeseed oil-to lubricate waffle iron
3/8 cup (6 Tbsp-usually 2 scoops) Whey Protein Powder
1 Egg
3 Egg equivalent of EggBeaters
1 tsp Baking Powder
Seasoning to make it more sausage-like
1 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp Ground Sage
1/4 tsp Fennel
1/8 tsp Pepper
dash Cayenne Pepper
I should have used salt.
Tips
Top with some sugar free syrup if it fits in your plan.
Directions
Preheat waffle iron.
Mix protein powder, egg, Egg Beaters, and baking powder using an immersion blender. Be sure not to leave the protein powder wet too long without mixing it or it will clump terribly.
Add the seasonings. Mix again.
Pour about 1/4 in each section of the waffle iron.
Cook until the steam subsides, any sooner and they will deflate. The waffles will have a bunch of gaps in them.
Serving Size: Makes 4 thin 4 inch waffles
