A great meal that my family absolutely loves. A great meal that my family absolutely loves.
Number of Servings: 8


    1 lb. Extra lean Ground Beef or Turkey
    6 c. thinly sliced potatoes
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 can cheddar cheese soup
    1 soup can full nonfat milk
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    salt & pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. sugar
    6 oz. part skim mozzarella cheese


Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown beef and add onions. Saute. Spray 13 by 9" dish with cooking spray. Place potatos and cooked beef in dish. Set aside. In a small bowl, mix together cheese soup and milk. Add to meat and potatoes and stir. In same small bowl combine tomato sauce, salt, pepper, oregano, and sugar. Pour over top of meat and potato mixture. Stir. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 375 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Remove foil and sprinkle with cheese. Return to oven for about 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Makes approximately 8 servings.
