Ingredients

    -1 cup steel cut oats
    -4 cups water
    -2 apples, finely chopped
    -2 teaspoons cinnamon
    -1 teaspoon nutmeg
    -1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Optional Toppings/Add Ins:
    Brown Sugar
    Honey
    Berries
    Walnuts

Tips

If you're looking for more protein...add in some vanilla whey powder into oats in the moring or your favorite nut butter!


Directions

Spray Crock Pot wth Oil
Combine everything in a two-quart crock pot
Stir and cook for 8-9 hours
Stir oats until everything is combined and oatmeal is creamy.
Pour into bowls with desired toppings
