Ingredients

    Ingredients:
    Cinnamon, ground, 1/2 tsp
    Nutmeg, ground, 1/2 tsp
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
    Apples, fresh, 6 cup, quartered or chopped
    Blueberries, fresh, 3/4 cup
    Lemon juice, 1 tbsp
    Vermont Sugar-Free Maple-Flavored Syrup, 1/3 cup
    Country Choice Organic Old Fashioned Oats, 1 cup
    Musselman's Home Style Natural Unsweetened Apple Sauce, 1/2 cup
    Splenda Brown Sugar Blend 1/3 cup
    MORTON Sea Salt, Fine Salt, 1/4 tsp
    Splenda No Calorie Sweetener Granular (for baking), 1/3 cup
    Butter - Land of Lakes - Salted, 4 tbsp
    Add amount of cinnamon to the topping of your liking, I use a teaspoon. I peel my apples first.

Tips

You can eliminate the salt if using salted butter.


Directions

Preheat oven to 375F. Grease an 8x8 baking dish or pie plate. In a missing bowl mix together apples, blueberries, maple syrup, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Spread evenly into baking dish.

Topping: melt butter
Mix oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt together. Add the melted butter and stir until evenly moistened. Sprinkle over fruit filling.
Bake:
35 - 40 minutes or until apples are soft and tender.
Remove from oven and cool for 25 minutes.

Serving Size: 8
