Ingredients

Extra Light Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    Onions, 1 medium, thinly sliced
Red Bell Pepper, 1 medium, thinly sliced
Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, 0.5 tsp
Shrimp, uncooked, peeled and deveined, 16 oz
Bertolli Vineyard Marinara with Burgundy Wine, 1 cup
    Brown rice, 3 cups cooked

Tips

If you don't like a lot of heat, reduce the red pepper flakes to 0.25 tsp.

For a change, this can be served over angel hair pasta. It's delicious either way!

Directions

Heat olive oil in a non stick skillet over medium high heat. Add onion and red pepper and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

Add pepper flakes and shrimp and cook, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes or until shrimp almost turn pink.

Stir in sauce and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low and heat through until shrimp turn pink.

Serve over hot rice.
