Ingredients

    White Cake:
    2 1/2 cup Flour
    1 1/2 cup Sugar
    3 tsp Baking Powder
    1 tsp Salt
    1 1/4 cup Milk
    2/3 cup Shortening
    2 tsp Vanilla Extract
    3 Eggs

    Buttercream Icing:
    1/2 cup Butter
    3-4 cup Powdered Sugar
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    1 tbsp Milk

Directions

White Cake:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add milk, vanilla extract, and eggs. In a separate bowl, mix remaining dry ingredients. Add to wet mixture. Blend for 2 minutes, pour into greased and floured baking pans. Bake at 350 for 25-35 min.

Buttercream Icing:
Blend all ingredients until desired consistency. Add more sugar for thicker icing, more milk for thinner.
