Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    whole wheat pasta, 4 oz.
    1 onion, chopped
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    ground beef, lean 1/4 pound
    1 can tomatoes
    Italian seasonings
    Lor Peynir, 100 grams
    kashkaval cheese, light 100 grams
    tomato paste
    salt, black pepper
    Optional: mushrooms, zucchini, green or red peppers, parmesan cheese

Tips

If you want to use other veggies....saute with ground beef and cook with pasta.


Directions

Saute onions and garlic. Add ground beef. Drain fat. Add pasta, tomatoes, seasonings and water. Cook until pasta is done...15-20 minutes. Meanwhile, mix cheeses and more seasoning. When pasta is done drop cheese by spoonfuls on top of hot pasta. Let it warm, then sprinkle with parmesan cheese before serving.

Serving Size: 4 servings of 1.5 cups
