Introduction

Pancakes made without wheat flour and lots of protein! Pancakes made without wheat flour and lots of protein!
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    Garbanzo bean flour 1.25 cups
    Sea salt 1/4 tsp
    Natural cane sugar 1 TBSP
    Baking powder 1 TBSP
    Milk (skim) .75 cup
    Applesauce, unsweetened .33 cup
    1 Large egg
    Canola Oil 1.25 TBSP
    Cinnamon 1 tsp

Directions

Mix together the dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients well, then add to the dry ingredients.

Use tablespoon to drop batter onto the griddle. Bake each until the top bubbles and bottom is browned to desired color. Flip to cook other side.

Serve hot!

    Had no Canola oil so substituted with Coconut Oil - equal quantity.
    Substituted Xylitol for the sugar - equal quantity

    Excellent results and delicious with applesauce and fruits
