    1 C Brown rice(makes 3.5C cooked)
    2C Frozen Mixed Vegetables
    12oz Chicken, cut into bite size pieces
    4C College Inn Chicken Broth


This is a very simple recipe. Just put al lthe ingredients in the crock pot and leave it alone.

I put the rice and chicken in the crock pot uncooked, it will cook during the day.

Cook times will vary depending on your crock pot. Mine cooked in 4 hours on high.

This recipe make 6 1C servings.

    This is a very good, basic soup which is what I was looking for. I varied by using wild rice, fresh onion, celery, carrot and did end up using one extra can of broth and Mrs Dash and pepper for seasoning. Very good, thanks! - 1/8/11

    I'm not sure what happened. Followed directions & it came out like a chowder. Was ok, added seasoning to try and give it some flavor. - 1/24/11
