Introduction

My son and I love fresh salsa and tortilla chips! This recipe is as close to restaurant-style salsa as I could get! It is amazing and it's something my gluten-free husband can munch on as well. It takes less than 10 minutes from start to finish to make! My son and I love fresh salsa and tortilla chips! This recipe is as close to restaurant-style salsa as I could get! Ingredients

1 28 oz can or whole peeled tomatoes with juice
2 10 cans of mild diced tomatoes and green chilies
    1 medium onion chopped
    4 TBSP fresh cilantro chopped
1 jalapeno seeded and chopped (leave in seeds and ribs if you like the extra spice)
    1/4 tsp ground cumin
    1/2 tsp granulated garlic
    Juice from half a lime
    .5 tsp granulated sugar

Tips

This recipe makes a large batch and keeps for several days in a covered container in the refrigerator.

Directions

Put all ingredients into food processor and blend until desired consistency. You might have to do it in a few batches as it makes a large amount. I like to make mine in a large bowl and just use and immersion blender.
