If you have never tried fresh asparagus - you really should try this delicacy. It is a world away from canned or frozen asparagus - so totally different that you wouldn't recognise it as the same thing!! Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil
1 garlic cloves, crushed
1 bunch asparagus, woody ends removed
2 cups Mixed salad leaves including butter or baby cos lettuce and radicchio
6 baby truss or cherry tomatoes
50g feta cheese, crumbled or chopped
Squeeze of lemon juice
Directions
1. Preheat BBQ or grill. Combine olive oil and garlic in mixing bowl and add asparagus and toss to coat with garlic oil.
2. Cook asparagus 2 minutes each side until just tender. Remove from BBQ or grill and set aside.
3. Arrange salad leaves on platter or individual serving plates. Top with asparagus and scatter with tomatoes and feta and just before serving squeeze lemon over and season with pepper.
