Ingredients:
1/2 cup Applesauce, unsweetened
1/2 cup Brown Sugar, packed
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
3 TBSP Flax Seed Meal (ground flax)
2 TBSP water
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
1/3 cup Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F).
In large bowl, soak ground flax in water. Add vanilla and applesauce, mix well. Add brown sugar, mix again.
In separate bowl, mix dry ingredients together. Then, add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir until just mixed.
Spoon into mini-cupcake papers.
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
Serving Size: Makes 10 mini-cupcake sized brownies
