Introduction

Ingredients

    8 qt crock pot
    cabbage - 1/2 large head
    ground beef - 1 lb 80/20
    onion - 1/2 med - large
    garlic - minced, good size spoon or about 6 cloves
    water - 6-8 cups, enough to cover
    chicken broth 1-2 cups
    seasoning - to taste
    salt - to taste
    pepper - to taste

Tips

This recipe is all based on personal taste. I love love love garlic and spices, I grabbed what was in the cabinet.


Directions

Toss everything into the crock pot and add water to cover, roughly 6 cups. I used McCormick Tuscan seasoning, sea salt and pepper to taste. Use less garlic if needed or none at all. Cook time 4 - 6 hours on high. Cook until cabbage reaches designed consistency. For sure a "better the next day" soup.
