Introduction

The texture turned out more like bread than muffin, too chewy to be called muffin, so I named them Bready-muffins.

As much as I had wished they turn out a recipe to be popular, they are not the type of muffin that appeals to everyone, I knew it the moment I bit into one.

As for me, I created this healthy, low-fat, low-cal, low-sugar, source of fiber and protein recipe to meet my dietary need. Dipped Good for breakfast, and afternoon snack for hunger fix. If you like organic natural taste food, or have a quirky taste like me, you might like them too.

Ingredients

    Ingredients:

    -Dry
    One Degree Organic Foods Organic Sprouted Whole Wheat Flour, 1 cup
    Oats, Quaker, 1/3 cup
    Baking Powder, 1 tsp
    Blackberries, fresh, 1 cup

    -Wet
    Canola Oil, 3 tbsp
    Motts Natural Apple Sauce, 1/2 cup
    Almond Breeze Almond Milk, Original, 1/2 cup
    Bob's Red Milll All Natural Egg Replacer, 2 tbsp (plus 6 tbsp of water)


    Notes:
    Berries of any choice;
    Replace milk with Almond Breeze or Silk Almond for healthier option;
    Try natural sweetener such as Stevia;
    Try interesting flavoring such as brandy extract;

Directions

1.Mix dry ingredients well;
2.Mix wet ingredients well in a separate bowl (egg replacer plus water is to be put in here);
3.Mix berries and wet ingredients into dry ingredients;
4.Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees F.
