Introduction

Ingredients

    1 15oz. can chickpeas
    1/2 small sweet onion
    3 cloves garlic
    1 tsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. chile de arbol or any chile powder
    1 tsp. sea salt
    1/4 C. parsley
    1/4 C. cilantro
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 cup all purpose flour
    1 tbsp. olive oil
    water, as needed

Tips

Flip over halfway through the cooking process for an even crispy texture.


Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Add all ingredients except water in a blender. Pulse until incorporated, scraping down sides, add 1 tbsp. water at a time. Make sure not to add to much water or they will be hard to roll into balls. With floured palms roll into balls and place in a well oiled muffin tin. Gently press balls down to form patties.
