Ingredients

    4 tablespoons butter
    4 teaspoons salt
    3 pounds sirloin, cut into strips
    1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    2 10-1/2 oz cans condensed Mushroom soup
    1 cup bouillon
    1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
    2 pounds mushrooms, sliced

Tips

Can increase onion to 2 medium.
Can add 1 cup dairy sour cream, if desired.


Directions

Combine flour and salt; sprinkle over meat. Melt butter in skillet; add onion and garlic powder. Cook until onion is tender, but not brown. Remove from skillet; add meat and brown well. Stir in soup, bouillon, Tabasco, and onion. Cover. Simmer 30 minutes, or until meat is tender. Add mushrooms. Cook 10 minutes. Add sour cream, if desired. Serve with noodles or rice.

Serving Size: Makes 12 servings.
