    1 kg beef, cut into chunks for stew
    2 tbsp Jamaican Chicken seasoning
    2 tbsp Jamaican Meat seasoning
    1 large onion, sliced
    2 tbsp olive oil
    2 tsp Browning sauce
    3/4 cup ketchup
    3/4 cup tomato sauce or strained tomatoes


In a large bowl combine first 4 ingredients and mix well. Cover with lid or saran wrap and refrigerate for 1to 12hours.
Heat olive oil in a large pot. Add meat and Browning sauce and brown the meat until most liquid is dissolved. Add half a cup of water and continue browning until liquid has dissolved. Add ketchup, tomato sauce, and enough water to cover the meat and simmer until the meat is tender and the sauce has thickened. If sauce has thickened but meat is not yet tender add more water and continue cooking.
Serve over rice.
