Introduction

Ingredients

    Ground beef, extra lean, 19 oz
    *Penne Rigate pasta, whole wheat, Ronzoni brand, (uncooked, dry), 7 oz
    *McCormick - Original Taco Seasoning Mix (2 tsp, 6g /Serving), 10 tsp
    *Meijer Naturals Thick & Chunky Salsa, Medium, 24 tbsp
    *Cream, sour - Daisy light, 4 tbsp
    *Kraft 2% American Reduced Fat Singles, 2 serving
    *Kroger 2% Milk Mild Cheddar Reduced Fat Cheese - Finely Shredded, 1.5 cup

Directions

Boil the pasta.

Brown the ground beef, drain it, and put it back in the skillet. Add the water and taco seasoning. Add the salsa, mix it up, and simmer until the pasta is done.

Drain the pasta and add it to the meat mixture. Add the sour cream and cheese. Mix well. When the cheese is melted, it's ready to serve.

Serving Size: Makes 6 servings.
