Introduction
A granola for diabetics and people trying to eat a low glycemic diet. If you have certified gluten free oats and nuts it can be a gluten free snack food as well. Ingredients

2 cups thick rolled oats
2 cups oat flour
1 cup of whole almonds (broken up to smaller pieces)
1 cup of sunflower seeds ground into chunks
1 cup pumpkin seeds ground into chunks
1/4 cup chia seeds ground into flour
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp mace
1 tsp salt
1/4 butter
3/4 canola oil
1 cup coconut palm sugar
1/3 cup water
Directions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
Mix dry ingredients together.
In small sauce pan mix butter, sugar and oil together until sugar incorporates. Add water.
Pour over dry ingredients and mix until coated.
Put on cookie sheet,
Cook for 20-30 minutes, turn once, until dry.
Cool and put in air tight container.
