Ingredients
-
4c rolled oats
1c sweetened coconut
1c dried cranberries
1/4c white chocolate chips (optional)
4tbsp cocoa powder
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Tips
Add whatever nuts and fruit you like. You can add instant coffee granules to the cocoa powder. Mix in the condensed milk before stirring with the granola if you do this.
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F)
Toast rolled oats on cookie sheet for 30 minutes.
While toasting oats, toss together the other dry ingredients. Add or remove nuts and other fillings to taste.
While oats are hot, stir together with dry ingredients and drizzle condensed milk over. Stir thoroughly until completely mixed.
Pour and pat into a parchment lined 13x9 inch pan or 8x8 for thicker bars.
Bake in oven for 20 minutes for slightly chewy bars or 30 for firm bars. Turn oven off after they're done and check to make sure they are the texture you like. The middle of the pan will take longer to absorb the milk so they may be softer.
Serving Size: roughly 20, 2x5 inch bars.
Number of Servings: 20
