    4 ozs of light butter spread
    2/3 cup of brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 & 3/4 cups of SR flour
    tspn cinnamon
    2/3 of a cup of milk
    3 sliced apples.


Add extra fibre such as bran or psyllium husk with the flour if desired


Beat together 4 ozs of light butter spread and 2/3 cup of brown sugar.
Add 2 eggs and beat well
Add 1 & 3/4 cups of SR flour and a tspn cinnamon
and 2/3 of a cup of milk = mix well together.
Pour mixture into a greased deep cake slice tray over a layer of sliced apples.
finish with another layer of sliced apples and a sprinkle of cinnamon

Bake in centre of a moderate oven (180 degrees) for 30 - 25 mins.

Cut into 12 portions and remove from tray

Serving Size: 12 slices 2 inch by 1 1/2 inch
