Ingredients

11/2 cups mung beans matured
1/2 cups rice
1/2 inch ginger
1 green chilli optional
1tspn cumin seeds
1 small onion chopped
Salt to taste
Tips
Traditionally the crepes are eaten with rice Upma or uppittu
Directions
rinse and soak the mung beans for about an hour, better if soaked over night
grind the above adding the green chillies chopped onion, ginger and salt using one cup of water to slightly coarse paste
heat griddle.
pour a laddle of the batter and spread into a circle about 5 inch in diameter and nearly paper thin but should not become crisp unless u like that way
pour half a tsp of oil/ butter around the outer edges of the circle.
cook for about 2 minutes, flip and cook the other side, adding another 1/2 tsp of oil/butter ( optional )
serve with green chutney, mango pickle or idli powder.
