This is good as is, but you can add a Bakeing Powder Biscuit Topping if you wish. This is good as is, but you can add a Bakeing Powder Biscuit Topping if you wish.

    1/4 lb. Lean Ground Beef
    2 T. Chopped Onion
    3/4 cup Chopped Rutabaga
    3/4 cup Chopped Potato
    1 t. Hain Sea Salt
    1/2 t. Black Pepper
    1 t. Onion Powder
    2 T. Water


This recipe would wook good in a slow cooker, but I have not tried that yet.
You can add a Baking Powder Biscuit topping, but I did not want the extra calories at this point in my weight loss plan.


In a large bowl stir Ground Beef, seasonings, and onion until mixed well. Add Rutabaga and Potao and mix well. Place in small casserole dish, pat down tightly and add the 2 T. water.
Cover casserole dish and place in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
Casserole is done when a toothpick is easily inserted in a piece of rutabaga

Serving Size: 2-one cup servings.
