Comfort Food Favorite...my Dad used to call it SOS ( He said that they used to make it in the Air Force in the 1960's with Beef, but that was really salty so I took out the salt)...

Ingredients

    Ham lunch meat
    Flour
    Milk 2%
    Butter, unsalted
    Onion
    Powder
    Black Pepper
    Paprika

Tips

My husband likes to have a over-easy egg on top of the toast/gravy mixture.


Directions

Melt Butter in a pan over medium heat add chopped lunch meat season with Onion powder and black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes then and add flour to create a rue....cook the rue for 2 minutes. Once the rue turns golden brown stir in Milk slower stirring continuously as you add more milk. Let the mixture come to a slow boil, cook stiring occassionally for the next 20 minutes. The mixture will thicken into a gravy.

Place over toast for breakfast, sprinkle with paprika...
