Ingredients

    21/2 cups wheat berries
    11/2 cups spelt flour
    1/2 cup barley
    1/2 cup millet
    1/4 cup dry green lentils
    2Tb Great Northern beans, dry
    2Tb Kidney beans, dry
    2Tb Pinto beans, dry
    4 cups warm water
    1 cup honey
    1/2 cup olive oil
    2Tb yeast
    2 Tb salt

Directions

1. Measure the water, honey, olive oil, and yeast into a large bowl. Let sit for 3-5 minutes.
2. Stir all of the grains and beans together until well mixed(do not add spelt flour). Grind in a flour mill. Add fresh milled flour, spelt flour, and salt to the yeast mixture; stir until well blended, about 10 min. The dough will be like that of a batter bread. Pour dough into 3 greased 9x5 inch loaf pans.
3. Let rise in your oven for about 30-45 minutes, or until dough has reached the top of the pan.
4. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes, or until loaves are golden brown.
Makes 3 loaves. Cut loaves into 12 pieces.

    Incredible!
Can a food processor be used to grind the berries and beans? - 12/26/17

I made this recipe, it is great tasting. It does make more than 2 loaves. the salt is reported as 4780 mg per serving. This is wrong, when 2 tb is in the whole recipe. I do not know how to fix this. the rest seem to be reasonable.

The math seems off...If 3 loaves are cut into 12 pieces each, that gives you 36 pieces...So, is a serving 1 1/2 pieces? - 2/21/13
