Ingredients

1 pound Ground Bison
1 C Onion, finely diced
1/4 C Oat Bran
1 T Onion Powder
1/4 Tomato Paste
2 large Egg White
1-2 T Braggs Seasonings, optional
Salt & Pepper
Tips
Note that these burgers will have an almost charred look about them ... ingredients carmelize and make for a wonderful meal. Moist & tasty!
Great for grilling, too!
Directions
1. Thinly dice one small onion and place in hot skillet sprayed with cooking oil (or a few drops of oil spread around pan with excess wiped with paper towel).
In heavy skillet brown onions until translucent.
2. While onions are cooking, measure all ingredients into a large bowl.
3. Add the now translucent onions to the mix.
4. Take your rings off and use what God gave ya! Mix with your hands to evenly distribute the ingredients. Do not over mix.
5. Divide into 5 patties, cover and place in refrigerator for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to absorb into the oat bran.
6. Heat a heavy skillet sprayed with oil wiping out excess.
7. Place patties in hot skillet, salt and pepper to taste.
8. Cook for 5 - 6 minutes on one side & turn over and cook to desired doneness.
9. Dress them and eat them ... your way but, these are tasty by themself.
