Introduction

A healthy, tasty, refreshing drink with Mexican origins, literally Green Juice. A healthy, tasty, refreshing drink with Mexican origins, literally Green Juice.

Ingredients

    8 oz. fresh orange juice
    1 lg. (11-12") stalk raw celery, chopped
    2 Tb. fresh parsley
    1-2 spinach or chard leaves
    1/2 cup peeled cucumber, chopped
    1 "paddle" nopal cactus, free of spines, diced
    1/2 cup fresh water

Tips

You can sub grapefruit juice, pineapple juice, or even apple juice for the orange juice and swiss chard for the spinach. The nopal is optional, but definitely a heallthy addition if it's available where you live. Some people even say the cumber is optional.


Directions

Blend everything in blender until you can't see any green flecks!
