Ingredients

Beef bottom round roast 4.5 lb
Domino lite brown sugar 12 tsp.
    Granulated sugar 12 tsp.
ketchup 1/2 cup or 8 tbsp.
    yellow mustard 1 tsp.
barbeque sauce 1 tbsp. *optional, and your choice
    water 1/2 cup
    salt and pepper optional

Tips

leftover makes great baked potato topper if you run out of sandwich buns or want to find another use for your barbeque beef. Enjoy

Directions

In a medium size roaster rinse the beef when removed from package from store and trim fat, fat side up in roaster and add water 3/4 way up on the roast. Season (optional) and place in pre-heated oven 350 and cook for about 5 hours til tender.

Remove from roaster, turn off oven. Trim remaining fat off roast when placed on plate. Throw fat away.
Then shred the beef on plate or transfer in large bowl and shred with fork, should fall apart easily. Once shredded place in large skillet on top of stove and turn on low heat.

In another bowl combine sugars, mustard, bbq sauce, water, ketchup, and seasoning and whisk together til well blended. Pour sauce over roast beef in skillet and with a spatula fold into meat over and over. Cover with lid and let simmer about 10 minutes, if you wish for it to be thinner can add more water.

Uncover and serve right away on regular size hamburger buns (calories from buns not added in recipe).

Makes 28 to 30 regular size sandwiches. Can garnish with your favorites. Leftover can be used on baked potatoes as a potato topper and is great with onions and shredded cheddar cheese.
