Number of Servings: 1

    Wheat flour 3 cups
    Powder milk 2 tbsp
Yeast (I use instant yeast) 0.75 tbsp
White sugar 3 tbsp (for dough), 1.5 tbsp (for "sira")
    Salt 0.5 tsp
Water 1 cup (for dough), 1 cup (for "sira)

If add too much water to the mixture, add more flour. Make sure not too dry but not too sticky.

- Mix wheat flour, powder milk, yeast and white sugar (for dough) together. Add salt last.
- Add water till to the mixture to form soft dough.
- Take pieces from the dough to form doughnuts.
- Leave for about an hour for the doughnuts to "rise".
- After the doughnuts rise, fried half-cook (not deep fry). While frying, prepare "sira" (see below for instruction).
- Put all doughnuts in the wok filled with "sira" and stir until the "sira" on the doughnuts will take dry, whitish form.

How to make "sira":
Cook white sugar and 1 cup of water in a wok till the mixture will form whitish, sticky appearance.
