Ingredients

4 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
2 cups butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
4 large eggs
2 tsp baking soda
3 cups dry Oatmeal (or less to taste - dough should still be moist not dry after adding oats)
2 boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
1 package Dark Chocolate Chips
1 tbsp cinnamon (if desired)
Can add nuts as well to taste.
Tips
These cookies are not going to be crunchy. They will remain soft even after cooling because of the pudding. If you want crisp cookies you should not use the pudding.

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2) Sift together the flour and baking soda and cinnamon, set aside.
3) In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar.
4) Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs.
5) Blend in the flour mixture.
6) Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and oats.
7) Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
4) Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.
