*Flax Meal - Flax USA Golden Flax, Cold Milled, 2 tbsp
*Winco - Whole Wheat Flour 2 cups
*Sugar- Sugar in the Raw, natural cane sugar, 1 cup
*Cacao Powder - Organic Sunfood Nutrition 3/4 cup
*Baking Powder (Clabber Girl), 1.5 tsp
*Salt - Iodized Sea Salt, 1 tsp
*Coconut Dream - Original Coconut Drink, Enriched, 1 cup
*Applesauce, Seneca Unsweetened, 1 cup
*Kirkland Pure Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
*Walnuts - 1.25 cups

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. and grease a 13×9-inch baking pan.
2. In a small bowl, stir together flax and water.
3. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
4. In a large bowl, whisk together coconut milk, oil, and vanilla.
5. Add flax mixture to coconut milk mixture and whisk until smooth.
6. Add flour mixture to coconut milk mixture and blend until smooth.
7. Stir in walnuts. Spread evenly in a prepared baking dish.
8. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies are set.
9. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
Cook’s note: You can dress these brownies up by thinly spreading a chocolate frosting over cooled brownie before cutting into squares and topping each brownie with a walnut.
