Introduction

This is my alternative to Torani SF syrup. It is much tastier and I can make it with Ideal/Xylitol, instead of Splenda. However, you can use Splenda or another sweetener, if you choose. Ingredients

    5 cups Ideal No Calorie Sweetener
    1/4 cup Ideal No Calorie Brown Sweetener
    5 cups Water
    1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract

Tips

The Ideal No Calorie Brown Sweetener is not NECESSARY, if it is not available. Kroger also has their own brand of this sweetener (purple bag - "zero calorie baking sweetener" and "zero calorie brown baking sweetener"). The addition of the brown sweetener makes the syrup a bit more rich, but it not essential.


Directions

Combine all ingredients in pan and bring to a boil. Boil over medium-high heat for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Store in sealed bottle/jar/container.

Serving Size: Makes 16 - 1 oz (1 Tbsp) servings.
