Introduction

I used applesauce instead of butter and Brown Sugar Spenda blend instead of Brown Sugar. Substitute eggbeaters and all Splenda for an even lower calorie/lower fat treat. Ingredients

    1 cup White Flour
    1 cup Wheat Flour
    1/3 cup Granulated Sugar
    1 cup Spenda Brown Sugar Blend
    1 egg
    1 cup mashed overripe bananas
    1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 cup pecans, shopped
    1-2 cups chocolate chips

Tips

You can make this in two 8x8 pans or one 13 x 9


Directions

Mash bananas and mix with wet ingredients. In a separate bowl, combine the flours with the baking soda and salt. Incorporate sugars to the wet mix and then add the flour mixture. Finally add pecans (or walnuts) and chocolate chips.
Bake at 350 in either 2 8x8 or 13 x9 pans you have sprayed with non-stick spray.

Serving Size: makes 24 pieces
