Ingredients

    Milk, 2%, .25 cup
    Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips, 8 tbsp
    Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened, .5 cup
    *Flour, white, 1 cup
    Egg, fresh, whole, raw, 2 large
    Granulated Sugar, 1 cup
    Salt, .5 tsp
    Baking Powder, 1 tsp
    almond extract, .5 tsp
    Butter, salted, 4 tbsp
    Buttermilk, lowfat, .33 cup
    Low fat cream cheese, 6 tbsp

Tips

Note: This brownie is best when just under baked. The outer crust will appear cracked, but the center will be slightly molten.


Directions

In a saucepan, melt chocolate chips, cream cheese, butter and milk over low heat. Remove from heat and add almond extract, salt, baking powder, sugar and cocoa....stirring well. Now incorporate the eggs one at a time. Lastly, combine flour and buttermilk.

Pour batter into lightly buttered 10" pie dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 15 -20 minutes....:::or till the center of the brownie has just set.

Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
