Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    1 whole egg
    3/4 tsp salt
    1/4-1/2 cup water

Tips

Will keep in refrigerator or freezer.


Directions

Put flour in a bowl and make a well in the center. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, water, and salt. Pour into well and mix until a non-sticky dough forms. Knead it until it becomes smooth and allow to rest for 30-60 minutes. Then divide dough into two balls. Roll out one of the balls into a rectangle on a cornstarched surface and cover the other. Cut the rectangle into 12 squares and fill with a filling of your choice and boil, steam, or bake until cooked. Do the same with the other half. Makes 24 wontons.
