Yellow Sweet Corn, Frozen, 0.50 cup kernels (remove)
*Jennie-O Lean Ground Turkey, 8 oz (remove)
Breakstone's 2% Milkfat Small Curd Lowfat Cottage Cheese, 4 oz (remove)
Colby Cheese, .25 cup, shredded (remove)
Salsa, .25 cup (remove)
Herbs and spices as noted in instructions
Tips
Its all organic products, couldn't find all on data base, sick of entering them, even the meat is organic not Jenny O. Top with 2% Fage Greek yogurt if you want sourcream taste for few fat and cals., add in cals for that separate. Tabasco for yummy heat is perfect on this!
Directions
Saute ground meat with 1/2 onion, season salt, cumin, chili powder, oregano, favorite salsa (Its Famous from Oregon for me), garlic and garlic powder. Then add canned Chili and frozen corn. Stir, remove from heat.
In layers put down sliced polenta, then cottage cheese, then chili meat mixture, then last few leftover polenta slices, then 1/4 cup Mexican cheese blend. Bake for about 40-45 minutes 350 degrees. Covered first half of cooking only.
