Ingredients

    1 large can (or 2 small cans) pinto beans, drained and rinsed
    1/4 cup nutritional yeast
    2 tbsp tahini (unsweetened cashew butter may be substituted, preferably raw)
    2 tbsp white or yellow miso
    1 tsp onion powder
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp paprika
    1 tsp dry mustard
    1/4 cup fresh sage leaves

Tips

Feel free to substitute whatever herbs you have on hand in lieu of the sage leaves.

Spread will keep for about a week in the fridge.


Directions

Put all ingredients in a food processor with a metal blade. Process until the consistency is smooth like hummus.
