Introduction

Ingredients

    1 Cup Quaker Old fashioned Oats
    1 Cup Quaker quick Minute Oats
    1/2 cup wheat germ (a little more used to greased pan)
    1/2 cup flaxseed
    1/2 cup hulled pumpkin seeds (raw)
    1/2 cup broken walnuts
    1/2 cup whole almonds (cut up as best you like)
    1 tsp kosher salt
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/4 cup vegetable oil (canola oil)
    1/2 cup coconut oil
    1/2 cup Maple Syrup
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
    1 cup sweetened dried cranberries
    1 cup dried cherries
    1/2 cup Smucker's natural peanut butter


Tips

May have to bake additional minutes for bars to hang together. Let cool completely before cutting.


Directions

Mix pumpkin seeds, walnuts. Pecans, sunflower seeds, and almond together and baked in oven for 10 mins at 350. (Stirred at 5 mins).
Mix up all oats, bran, flaxseed and wheat germ with the roasted nuts from above. Mix up salt, cinnamon, vegetable oil, coconut oil, maple syrup and brown sugar (and peanut butter, if desired) in sauce pan until sugar dissolved. Take off heat and stir in vanilla extract.
Add cranberries and cherries to nut/oat mixture. Add wet sauce mixture to dry and mix completely.
Place in greased 9 x 13 pan. Compact into pan. Cook at 325 degrees for 30 mins.


Serving Size: Put in 9 x 13 pan. Can cut into 16 pieces. Or more
