I added a pound of lean ground beef and used a whole jar of salsa instead of diced tomatoes. I would definitely make this again. - 2/15/11

  • This was relatively easy to make. I made a double recipe because I was concerned that it might be liked so much that there wouldn't be any leftovers. Good thing I did. If I make this again, I think I'll put taco seasoned ground turkey in it. - 5/20/10

  • Very good! My picky husband and picky 2 year old both liked it - hard to find that in a low fat recipe. Thanks! - 8/9/09

My concern is the sodium. That is half a day's worth in one meal. Sounds really good otherwise. I wonder if something else could be done to reduce the sodium some. - 7/11/08

I'm definitely going to try this. Only I'll double the cheese (to appease the skinny folk just going light on one end so I know where to get mine) and adding ground turkey to the mix. We are definitely carniverous! - 6/20/08

  • I didn't have any hot sauce, so I found the mix a little bland. I added jalapeno, crushed black pepper and salt and some fresh cilantro, all good additions, and some chicken for extra protein. Great recipe! - 6/2/08

  • We loved it! I even left out all the spices, and the hot sauce, but it was great! - 4/18/08

  • I forgot to add the hot pepper sauce, but this still had enough zing from the salsa. It was pretty easy to make but it didn't set up. It had a soupy texture, but the flavor was still great. - 10/24/07

  • This was a really tastey and simple recipe. Great for the boys! I added some shredded chicken on the bottom layer per my boyfriends request, and used fewer tortillas. EASY, HEALTHY, and very TASTEY! - 10/15/07

  • This was AWESOME! I added a half pound of ground beef on one layer to appease the boyfriend, but I think it would have been just as good without it! Even my boyfriends picky 8 year old loved it! - 10/9/07
