Ingredients

Smart Balance Light Buttery Spread, 1 Tbsp, 6 serving
Cider Vinegar, 3 tbsp
Granulated Sugar, .75 cup
Applesauce, unsweetened, .5 cup
Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened, .5 cup
oat flour, 1.5 cup
Rice flour, brown, .5 cup
Salt, 1 tsp
Baking Powder, 2 tsp
Baking Soda, 1 tsp
Hot water .5 c - 1 c.
Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips, 5 tbs
.5 c. mini marshmallows or Pillsbury Milk Chocolate frosting
NOTE: calories are calculated without marshmallows and frosting.
Tips
Variation: Omit marshmallows and frost the cake with Pillsbury's Milk Chocolate frosting. Frost while cake is still warm.
Directions
Set aside the chocolate chips & marshmallows for later...
In a medium saucepan, Combine your first 5 ingredients over low heat. Then add your next 5 ingredients (dry).....stirring slightly.
Fold in the chocolate chips with the dry ingredients alternating both till the batter is sticky.....::::now add your hot water slowly....enough to create a "wet paste".
Note: Your batter is ready to bake when the texture is wet and becomes easy to stir.
Pour into a lightly greased 9"x 9" baking pan, and bake at 350 degrees for 15 min. Then add about .5 c. marshmallows to the top. Place pan back into the oven for another 3-5 min. (until marshmallow begin to melt just a bit)
Allow cake to cool for 5 minutes before cutting.
