Introduction

I've substituted applesauce for the oil and fat free evaporated milk for the milk in the kit. They were delicious! Ingredients

    Fat Free Evaporated Milk, 5.8 oz
    Applesauce, .5 cup
    2 large fresh eggs
    2 T water
    Carnation Lemon Bread Kit
    .25 cup poppy seeds, optional

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Pour bread mix into large bowl. Add eggs, water, milk and applesauce. Stir just until moistened. Pour into muffin cups, bake for 21 to 25 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack. Spread glaze over bread. Cool completely.
