Introduction

Ingredients

    1 lb turkey breast, ground
    1 cup chopped sweet onion
    1/2 c bell pepper
    4 med red ripe tomatoes, pureed
    1 can diced tomatoes
    1 can tomato sauce
    1/8 tsp oregano,marjoram, dry mustard, thyme, rosemary, basil
    1 tsp paprika
    2 bay leaves
    1 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp pepper
    1-2 tsp garlic

Tips

you can lower the sodium by using no salt canned tomatoes and sauce and not add additional salt.


Directions

brown meat with bell pepper and onion, and garlic. blend tomatoes and add the canned tomatoes and sauce pour over cooked meat and add the spices, bring to a boil and simmer on low for 60-90 min.
Serve over whole grain spahetti noodles
