Introduction

This is one of the many variations of whole fruit juice I make each morning using my Vitamix. I interchange ingredients depending on what I have on hand, but this is a standard recipe that I use. The protein in this juice comes from the Hemp Hearts, Chia and Flax Seeds. This is one of the many variations of whole fruit juice I make each morning using my Vitamix. Ingredients

    2 Bananas
    1 Orange
    1 Kiwi
    1 c. Spinach
    1 c. sliced Strawberries
    3 oz. Baby Carrots (about 10 - 11 pieces)
    2 Dates (pitted)
    1 Tbsp. Hemp Hearts (shelled)
    1 Tbsp. Chia Seeds
    1 Tbsp. Flax Seeds
    3 - 3 1/2 c. water

Tips

I'm sure this would work in a standard blender as well, but not sure if the Chia and Flax seeds would end up gritty or not. This juice has a nice, smooth consistency blended using a high speed blender.

The fruit and dates are usually all the sweetener I need, but occasionally I will get a piece of fruit that is not so flavorful in which case I will add about a tbsp. of agave nectar to give it a little kick of sweetness.

Directions

Peel Bananans, Orange, and Kiwi and put into Vitamix or blender with all other ingredients. Blend on high until smooth.

Serving Size: This will make about 8 - 8 oz. servings.
